Fèis Thròndairnis was established in 1993 and aims to ensure that our local culture is passed on to the next generation. We work in the community by running a week-long summer school in Gaelic arts, sport and dancing for young people ages 8-18 as well as ongoing fundraising activities throughout the year in the form of concerts and Cèilidhs.
Caithness KLICS

Caithness KLICS was established in 2013 due to the demand for support for Young Carers in Caithness. A young carer is a young person who cares, unpaid, for a person who has any type of physical or mental illness, physical and/or mental disability or misuses substances such as alcohol or drugs. Caithness KLICS support Young Carers from age 5-18 years old.

Our organisation supports children, young people and families across Golspie and the surrounding rural villages, where isolation, low income and limited access to services affect wellbeing and opportunities. We provide safe, inclusive spaces where young people can build confidence, develop skills and feel connected to their community.

Thurso Youth Club was established in 1960 and has a long history in the Thurso Community supporting young people and providing a safe space for young people to come together. We provide universal youth work for young people aged 5-18years in various sessions run through the week.

Youth Highland celebrates our 41st birthday this year, and currently supports 60 member clubs from across the Highland region and since 2016 set up and facilitates the Highland Voluntary Youth Network currently made up of 250+ organisations and individuals delivering and supporting work with young people.
