Highland YLAG is welcoming applications to its Youth Impact Fund from individuals aged 16-30 and organisations which support young people. You can access the funding guidance and make an application by pressing the Apply Now button below.

Highland YLAG members will independently score each funding appplication based upon a scoring matrix which will then be collated ahead of a Funding Panel. This will bring together Highland YLAG members with representation from the Highland Council's Community Regeneration Team and Strategic Local Action Group to evaluate the scores given to each funding application and allocate the grant funding.

Highland YLAG has distributed funding to projects and these are now underway in communities across Highland. All funded activities must be completed by 31st January 2027.

How does the Youth Impact Fund work?
Members of Highland YLAG set their strategic priorities, decide on the funding structure, score applications and make the final funding allocations. If you are aged 16-30, based in Highland and interested in rural action you can join Highland YLAG to influence decision making and our funding.
