Project Description

Big Balti Bash

The Big Balti Bash (BBB) is a youth led music festival with music acts, activities for all ages, stalls and food. The festival aims to bring the wider community together by participating and volunteering in the planning, marketing and delivery of the festival. Our group of young people will meet each week to plan the one-day event. We will meet to brainstorm, create a theme, book the music acts which are all from the Highlands, invite stall holders and food stands and work out a budget. We will then create posters and social media posts to inform the local community. Our plan this year is to have the music acts, stalls, bouncy castles, food sales, dog show and we will do a colour throw. The event will rely on young volunteers to plan and make it happen to benefit the wider community. The event will bring people together in a family friendly event. The event will give young people something to look forward to during the holidays and will give them an opportunity to experience a community music festival in a safe environment.
